   THE POWER OF PRAISE … have you experienced it? Praising and worshipping the Lord doesn’t simply make us feel better; it is the most powerful thing, we as Christians can do because God inhabits the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3). It is His presence in our praise that gives us the power to battle our discouragements, weaknesses, and spiritual enemies. Just as the children of Israel saw God defeat their enemies by inhabiting their songs of praise (2 Chron. 20), so can modern day believers see Him move in power when they are ushered into His presence. When God is worshipped, He is lifted up in all His power and glory, evil is defeated, and battles are won . . .

. . . and yet, according to mission organizations, praise and worship is the very element that is missing in the work of reaching people for Christ.

      This need placed a burden on the hearts of worship leaders, Chris and Diane Machen, to create a new ministry that would connect missions and worship. The Machens believe that God has called them to bring WORSHIP TO THE WORLD by partnering worship teams from local churches and colleges with short-term mission trips to places in America and around the world. Having had the privilege of leading worship as a part of mission trips to Colombia, Romania, Guatemala, Cyprus, Germany, Spain, Korea and Mongolia, the Machens have experienced first-hand what God can do through a ministry like this. WORSHIP TO THE WORLD is receiving enthusiastic responses from worship ministers and mission organizations alike, as they see how worship teams can affect the mission field and be affected by their involvement in missions as well.
